JOB DESCRIPTION
As (Senior) Specialist Group Consolidation, you will be an integral part of our Finance team and help to set up the TRATON GROUP Integrated Consolidation System (ICONS). You will actively collaborate with our brands to streamline and enhance our consolidation processes.
/ You will be involved in the preparation of the IFRS consolidated financial statements of TRATON and our brands
/ You will be the contact person for domestic and foreign subsidiaries on questions relating to the preparation of financial statements and selected accounting topics
/ You will independently assess the accounting of cooperations, transactions and contracts in accordance with IFRS, including the corresponding documentation
/ You will independently initiate and execute optimization and implementation projects in accounting and work on projects for the further development of reporting or consolidation
/ Project work in the TRATON Group for the implementation of the new consolidation and reporting system ICONS will be one of your main tasks
/ You will support and participate in coordination with auditors and with the accounting department of the VW Group
/ You will prepare ad hoc analyses and special analyses for management
YOUR SKILLS
/ Degree with a focus on international accounting or group accounting
/ Professional experience in the field of accounting for an industrial company or in auditing
/ Knowledge of IFRS accounting and the preparation of financial statements for individual companies
/ Very good knowledge of SAP BCS and good knowledge of system processes in SAP FI/CO. In addition, experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and S4 HANA is an advantage.
/ Very good understanding of numbers and strong analytical thinking skills
/ High level of entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as problem-solving skills
/ Fluency in German and English
